Fields of Research

The main research interests are concerned with the study of the electron-transfer ability of metal complexes (from coordination to organometallic derivatives) by modern electrochemical techniques .The redox processes emerging from electrochemical investigations are further elucidated through both spectroscopic techniques on macroelectrolysis (UV-vis., IR, EPR) or microelectrolysis (UV-vis-NIR spectroelectrochemistry) and theoretical analysis (EH, ab initio/DFT).

According to his more recent interests, the publishing activity in the field of electrochemistry of inorganic compounds can be schematically classified as follows:

1.   METAL CLUSTERS

2.   SANDWICH COMPLEXES

3.   METAL COMPLEXES CONTAINING REDOX-ACTIVE LIGANDS

4.   PHARMACO-BIO-METALLICS

5.   MISCELLANEOUS SUBJECTS

6.   TEXTBOOKS

7.   REVIEWS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO BOOKS
