Aim of this doctorate school is the formation of highly qualified people in the fields of molecular sciences and biochemistry, to favor their income in the world of biotechnological research and industry.
Our target is to supply Ph.D students with the needed theoretical and pratical knowledges, to become researchers able to work in both public and private research institutes. Moreover, we will provide students with the necessary instruments to develop innovative research projects which may be followed by an industrial development.

The teaching staff of the doctorate school is composed by the universities of Siena, Florence, and Pisa, the biotechnological industry VisMederi SRL, the start-up companies of the Toscana Life Sciences (TLS) scientifical and technological park, the Istituto Toscano Tumori (ITT), the Consiglio Nazionale Ricerche (CNR) of Pisa, and the Glaxo Smith Klein
