The Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Pharmacy brings together researchers from biotechnologies and molecular sciences, including expertise in bio-chemistry, molecular biology, chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry and technology. The Department coordinates undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Chemical Sciences, in Pharmacy as well as in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies. The Department has an active PhD Program in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as in Molecular Biotechnologies. The Department also offers Masters degrees and a Specialization Course in Hospital Pharmacy.
The Department is directed by Prof. Maurizio Taddei and the Administrative Secretary Mrs. Monica Rocchi and supported by the Department Board and the Department Council.
The Department, activated in November, 1st, 2012 is presently constituted by 64 academics, 22 technicians and administrative staff.
