Ion Channel Pharmacology Laboratory

OVERVIEW

Supervisor: Prof. Fabio Fusi

The laboratory studies the cardiovascular effects of natural compounds and newly synthesized molecules, tested in vitro and ex vivo with live cellular tissues and organs.

In particular, the laboratory investigates vascular mechanical function and the activity of ion channels such as Ca²⁺ and K⁺ channels, which are involved in its regulation.
