On May 14th, 2025 at 10:30 AM, the second edition of "Scegli il Pegaso che fa per te!" will be held in the Aula Magna Storica of our University.
The event is organized by the Presidency of the Tuscany Region and the Giovanisì Office, with the support of the Regional Department for Education, Vocational Training, University and Research, in collaboration with the University of Florence, the University of Pisa, the University of Siena, and the University for Foreigners of Siena.
The event is dedicated to presenting the activities of the Pegaso Regional PhD Programs.
The first part of the event will feature talks and reflections on PhD offerings at both the regional and national levels.
The second part will showcase research projects by PhD students and graduates involved in the Pegaso Programs.
BiBiM will participate in the event, represented by Prof. trabalzini and two of your colleagues, who will share their research experiences.

Applications for the upcoming edition of the European Pain School (EPS 2025) are open.
The European Pain School will be held in Pontignano, near Siena, Italy, next 7-13 June 2025. With a faculty of leading experts in the field, the European Pain School provides comprehensive and interdisciplinary training to younger scientists. The central theme this year is: “Cancer Pain”. Now in its 22nd cycle, the School has become a landmark in the area of Pain Research. Young scientists worldwide, at the Ph.D. or postdoctoral levels, in all fields of pain science and pain medicine are encouraged to apply. The confirmed faculty comprises: |

Applications are open exclusively through the website until 14 February 2025. Attendance is limited to 30 participants; priority will be given mostly on the basis of scientific background. The EPS 2025 is endorsed and supported by the University of Siena.

The PhD Day 2024 will take place at the University of Florence the next September 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (see attached program).
Please remind to inform Prof. Trabalzini as soon as possible if you cannot attend and have not yet sent the justification, so that we can better organize the event.
All PhD students, including those who will not be able to participate, must upload the pdf file of the poster, no later than September 6, 2024, in the Dropbox folder at the link below:

The poster, in 70x100 format, must be affixed at the beginning of the event and you will be required to remain in front of your poster for the entire duration of the poster sessions.
PhD Day 2024 will occur on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the University of Florence.
The attendance at the event is mandatory. It is an essential requirement for admission to the following year or, for the 37th cycle PhD student, for admission to the final examination.
Please inform Prof. Trabalzini as soon as possible if you cannot attend in the case you are engaged in a period abroad or for other justified reasons.
The program will be available as soon as possible, along with additional instructions for poster preparation.
